Suzy’s Field – Where Do You Go? [31 Oct – Pending Social Media]

[SPOTIFY EMBEDDED]

Namun nomor anyar bertajuk Where Do You Go? dari Suzy’s Field ini segera menepis keraguan begitu kita mendengarkannya sendiri.

Ia melompat ringan tanpa beban.

“They will find you when you’re sleeping“, dendang mereka di bagian refrain, membalut tema keputusan hidup yang mencekam ke dalam hook berdansa yang ganjil. Topeng labu plastik di rak minimarket.

Saya sendiri sempat menduga tembang Where Do You Go? ini bakal terasa melelahkan karena membawa embel-embel horor yang klise.

Lirik Lagu Suzy’s Field – Where Do You Go?

When the spiders creepy crawl around the room
And the only light that’s shining is the moon
This town, spellbound, sundown, inbound
When the time is right you know it’s coming soon

If you lose control
You won’t see it all
If you’d be so bold
You won’t hear the call

They will find you when you’re sleeping
They will find you when you’re wandering all alone
Won’t know before it’s happening
Where do you go?

When the voices chitter chatter round your head
When your body’s tipping up inside your bed
This night, sleep tight, can’t fight daylight
When you feel you’re slipping sliding round the edge

If you lose control
You won’t see it all
If you’d be so bold
You won’t hear the call

They will find you when you’re sleeping
They will find you when you’re wandering all alone
Won’t know before it’s happening
Where do you go?

If you lose control
You won’t see it all
If you’d be so bold
You won’t hear the call

Where do you go?
Where do you go from here?
Where do you go?
Where do you go from here?
